Wendy Perry

Wendy Perry is a well known thought leader in workforce development and planning with a pragmatic approach to implementing workforce management strategies, new concepts and ideas. Wendy has experience working in the Banking and Finance, Building and Construction, Community Services and Health, Customer Contact, Disability, Education, Government, Higher Education, Manufacturing, Small Business, Telecommunications, Vocational Education and Training and Water sectors.

Wendy’s background includes management roles within private and public Registered Training Organisations in the areas of Traineeships and Apprenticeships, business development, fee for service consultancy and Business Services. Wendy was successful in winning the role as the youngest Educational Manager in TAFE in South Australia at 25 years.

Wendy established the first call centre training facility in South Australia at the Institute, gaining sponsorship from numerous contact centre, technology and recruitment agency supporters. Whilst in this role, Wendy was approached by the Industry Skills Board for Information Technology to manage the Women into IT&T project for South Australian Business Vision 2010. Approached by the Department of Education and Children’s Services, Wendy was offered a position in a senior policy role with an IT&T industry focus in the secondary schooling sector.

In January 2003, at the age of 29, Wendy decided to establish begin Wendy Perry and Associates Pty Ltd and almost immediately was asked to undertake a project management role for Reframing the Future www.reframingthefuture.net

Wendy Perry is currently the Managing Director of Wendy Perry and Associates Pty Ltd incorporating Workforce BluePrint, Workforce Architects, WPAA and Blue Poppy Ventures.  Read about Wendy' story from in business magazine.

Whilst based in South Australia, Wendy's clients are all around Australia with extensive networks in industry, with employers, government and Registered Training Organisations.

Wendy holds a Master of Education, Diploma and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Small Business and Management qualifications and is a regular conference presenter.

Meredith Baker

Meredith is our Office/Accounts Manager with over 12 years experience in the administration field. Her skills complement our business well, providing expertise on a wide array of office functions, from desk top publishing, designing, marketing and accounts to IT and events management.  Meredith does a fantastic job of our Workforce BluePrint calendar with Pink Ribbon in 2007, Carbon Offset in 2008 and Naughty but Nice Characters for our 2009-2010 edition.

Shane Earls

Shane from JSAC Consulting and Project Management has considerable experience in translating and implementing workforce development strategies across a number industry sectors. He has worked with a range of agencies, enterprises across traditional trades’ areas, general administration / customer support, business, finance, print, IT, telecommunication and the Vocational Education and Training sectors. Shane has expertise in auditing and continuous improvement in practice.

Bridget Hogg

Bridget is an attraction and retention consultant and runs HR Development at Work – Adelaide’s only specialist attraction and retention consultancy. Bridget also specialises in assisting organisations to manage the people aspects of change and has nine years experience running outplacement programs.

Bridget has over 15 years experience in HR consulting and works with industry skills boards, employer associations and public and private sector organisations, to help them develop and implement strategic attraction and retention plans.

Bridget holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in psychology, and is a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute. Bridget is Convenor of the Australian Human Resources Institute’s Attraction, Recruitment and Retention Special Interest Group, and a Fellow of the Governor’s Leadership Foundation Program.

Karen Olive

Karen has extensive experience in education and training within the public and private sectors. Combined with her experience as partner in a scaffolding business providing services to the construction and manufacturing industries for almost 20 years, her repertoire of academic, operational, and strategic skills is as broad and diversified as her background. Karen spent ten years in Western Australia and the Northern Territory during the mining boom in roles as diverse as dump truck driver and international crew co-ordinator further broadening her experiences and skills, and resulting in a confident and “down to earth” approach to her forward career progress. 

Karen has owned and run a number of successful enterprises including an elegant, and very successful bed and breakfast cottage business in Mt Gambier. She has provided scuba diving instruction and tutoring as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer to introductory and advanced divers in the challenging but beautiful aquatic playgrounds in the Limestone Coast. Karen is sought out as a mentor and coach providing direction, support and career development. 

Karen holds a Bachelor of Adult, Vocational and Workplace Learning and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Management. She also holds numerous Diplomas including a Diploma in Training and Assessment Systems and a Diploma in Management. Amongst her Certificates she holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation reflecting her love of the outdoors.

Leanne Shephard

Leanne has over 8 years experience in enterprise learning & development, organisational & management development and managing enterprise Registered Training Organisations. She thrives on researching new innovative approaches in VET and has written papers on competency management frameworks and VET succession planning. Leanne is passionate about building relationships and was co-founder for two industry networks which became associations. Leanne's strengths are in integrating VET with workplace training needs, implementing quality management systems and professional development.

Leanne holds a BA in Adult Education, Advanced Certificate in HR, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and is currently completing her Masters in Professional Education & Training.

Bill Trengove

Bill is the State Manager of Polson Human Resource and Training Brokers and Managing Director of Brain Boost Pty Ltd. He has over 30 years experience in the education, training and management of people in Australia and in Canada.
His qualifications include Business, Human Resource Management; Educational Administration; Adult Education and Electrical Engineering.
He established his own Management Consulting practice in 1991, and specialised in workplace and cultural change in the Asia Pacific region. In 1997, Bill set up quite a unique business – Polson Human Resource & Training Brokers. A training broker essentially connects the people needs of a business to the right external expertise. Polson Training Brokers have offices in Adelaide and Darwin.

In 2005, Bill set up a new business called Brain Boost. Brain Boost is a company which delivers 90 minute learning programs “in-house” to groups up to 20 people.
